内容説明
In Las Vegas, Jason Cage is known as "The Beast Master." But his onstage feats of magic are nothing compared to the abilities he keeps hidden from human eyes. Jason is Prime of his vampire family, and once used his telepathic skills to tame wild werewolves. It's a talent that leads him to beautiful, sensual Sofia Hunyara, who instantly triggers all of Jason's primal urges. Sofia is destined to be his bondmate, but keeping her alive long enough to convince her of that fact will not be easy.
Sofia has no reason to trust Jason, or to believe his story about her family's secret history as Wolf Tamers. The only thing she's sure of is an overwhelming attraction that quickly develops into a scorching affair. If Jason's claims are true, can Sofia embrace her legacy -- when it means walking away from a soul-searing desire that's deeper than any she's ever known?

Great Series
I agree with "melindeeloo" that the many plots were disjointed and confusing and the two main stories should have been separated. I was able to follow the story line only because I've read other books in the series. As a stand alone book I wouldn't recommend it but it's great as a source of information about the whole series.
This book was...
great! I believe that this stroy fit in really good with the series. I would however, suggest that you read the books before this one, to better understand the prime world. I was happy that Cathy got her happy ending. And I belive that the main paring interacted well together.
It was a very interesting book that I would highly recomend! The series is just as good and just as highly recomened by me.
This series and book makes you fall in love with the charecters surronding you. Once agian Susan Sizmore has outdone herself.
I hope that you enjoy this book just as much as I did.
Not worth reading
Lately I have noticed authors making really long series and having the story lines for the next novel begun in the one before. I find this very distracting from the story line.
That said...this book is horrible. The story line is weak and there are SO many characters in the book that it is sometimes hard to keep track of who is saying or thinking what. There are at least 4 romances going on at the same time as well which I also hated. The main characters are only in about half the novel and you never really get to connect with them or see them bond. Sid is in this book a lot even though she is only a secondary character. I don't like her at all and was very disappointed she dominated this story so much.
This book is just a bridge to the next not a book that is a stand alone like a book really should be even when in a series. That is what epilogue is for. I skipped some parts near the end because I was so tired of reading the main characters repeat the same dialog over and over. Very boring read with no real suspense of any kind.
From J. Kaye's Book Blog
A few weeks ago, I read PRIMAL HEAT. It was my first Susan Sizemore book and I totally fell in love with way the author emotionally connected me to her characters. As soon as I was done, I found a copy of PRIMAL DESIRES, the sixth book in this series and started reading it the day of arrival. For the bad news, it wasn't as good as the previous book. Let me explain why.
Something new - it might not be so new and I am just finding out about it - is writers are adding more that one romance to a book. My guess it this sets the scene for the sequel. I find it irritatingly distracting. Let take this book for example.
The book is the romance between Jason Cage and Sofia Hunyara. The author also had a romance going on with Cathy and Mike, and though not as deep, between Sid and Joe. What happened to sticking with the two main characters?
Another problem was using Eden, Sid, and David and their dialogue to explain the story's background. Not only did it make the story unbelievable, but it confused the living daylights out of me.
So is this going to prevent me from reading more? Heck no! In fact, I am going to do something I rarely do and that's go back to the beginning of the series with I BURN FOR YOU. There is also another series I'll be picking up of hers called Laws of the Blood.
Great book
I have always enjoyed this series... This is another great instalment to the books. Come on book 7.
