I used this book as a supplement to ITIL V3 Foundation Complete Certification Kit - Study Guide Book and Online Course . This book did help me receive my ITIL V3. Foundations certification however, I found the editing to be horrendous.
On the positive side, there were many questions on each area. Few questions were repeated. I found the reference in the answers to be accurate and helpful if I needed additional clarification on the answer.
On the negative side, it appears that whoever was supposed to proof read this book fell down on the job. For example, instead of quotes for literal references " and quot& were used. Instead of a sentence reading The "Service Manager" is responsible...., it read The "eService Managerquot& is responsible.... This made some questions very difficult to read. Also quite a few answers were lettered B,C,D and E instead of A,B,C and D. Consequently when reviewing answers to those questions, and the answer was "D", I wasn't sure if that meant literally "D" or the fourth value which was "E".
Overall, the book was helpful but my recommendation is to find another book that has better editing.

For anyone attempting the ITILv3 Foundation exam, especially if you try to pass on the first try and plan on studying on your own without attending course lasting several days, this is a must have and a must read.
Similarly to the ITIL coursebook, the book is split up into subject-specific sections for the quizzes. If you are like me and you think you know your weaknesses and want to put a little more effort into those areas, the quizzes are the perfect tool to allow the topic specific studying. Even if you do not know whether you have weak areas, the quizzes can prove invaluable in determining where your strengths and weaknesses are. I would recommend to start with the quizzes, if you want to determine your weak areas. If you already know your weak areas, use the quizzes at the end to focus on the weaker areas and get that extra boost of confidence that I got when I realized that the practice exams in this book really helped.
This brings me to maybe the most important part of the book. The practice exams are the same length as the real ITIL Foundation exams. THis helped me tremendously when pacing myself to make sure I finished on time and had some extra time for review. Moreover, just like the quizzes, all questions in the exams list the specific subject area so you can go back to the study book and review. I would highly recommend to take the practice exam under real exam condition, timing and closed book will help you when it is time to sit for the ITIL exam. You have the confidence from completing these practice exams and it will help to lower the anxiety of test taking.
This is a great book for anyone attempting the ITILv3 Foundation exam. In particular, people using self-study outside of the ITIL course offered, will benefit from having practice exam and quizzes available.

This is such a good book and i really grateful to have this book as a practice exams long before I'm taking the actual examination.
The author is really helpful by putting the ITIL reference in each correct answer for reinforcing the correct answer.

I recently passed the foundation exam and finding this book would have been a great help in my studies.
One of the main benefits of the book is the organization by ITIL topic. As you study, you will realize what your weaknesses are, such as the lifecycle stages or the various processes during the lifecyle. Having this book available, you can use the quizzes to focus in on these areas and get the additional practice that will give you the confidence going into the exam. For me the processes were a weakness and I used an additional book to get some more sample questions. I wish I had this book available. Because rather than go through the other book looking for the relevant questions on the topic, I could have simply taken the quiz here and gotten the additional practice that I wanted.
In addition to the quizzes, the book also have 11 (!) practice exams. They are full length exams, intended to take 1 hour to complete. So you will get the benefit of several additional practice exams. I would encourage readers to take the exams under real exam conditions and set 1 hour aside to complete each exam.
Maybe the biggest benefit of the book is the fact that each question has the precise topic reference in the ITIL foundation book as an annotation. If an answer does not make sense to you, it is very easy to simply look up the relevant chapter in the ITIL book and reread the relevant section.
I would highly recommend this book to any self study reader that is attempting to pass the ITILv3 Foundation exam and wants to do so on the first try. Using this book to work out the weaker areas and get the additional practice for the exams, will end up being a big help in passing the exam on the first try.

The tests are designed to give readers a peek at over 600 ITIL foundation related questions. This book is a great study guide for any self motivated student.
