Ooo, Ahhh, Diebenkorn!
I bought this book for my mom for Christmas last year. It's one of the few art books she didn't own. She taught me about art, including Richard Diebenkorn, and I grew to recognize and appreciate his work. This book, if for nothing else, is a fantastic anthology of his works, approach to his craft and how he thought about the state of art in general. My mom passed away in January. Whenever I see Diebenkorn's work, I'll remember she taught me to appreciate him. You will too!
